The Cooper&Hunter CH-PTI-12HP is an inverter-driven packaged terminal air conditioner that combines cooling, heat-pump heating, supplemental electric heating, ventilation, and humidity management in a compact through-the-wall configuration.
Unlike conventional fixed-speed PTAC equipment, inverter technology can modulate system output as room conditions change. This supports more consistent temperatures while reducing the abrupt operating cycles commonly associated with traditional packaged terminal units.
Built-in Smart Kit technology provides WiFi capability, while the integrated fresh-air system can introduce up to 60 CFM of outdoor air. The unit is also designed to manage indoor relative humidity within an approximate range of 40% to 60%.
Advanced packaged-terminal technology
Designed to combine variable-capacity operation with ventilation, moisture management, supplemental heat, and connected control.
Inverter technology adjusts compressor output according to the room’s heating or cooling demand instead of operating only at full capacity. This supports steadier comfort, improved part-load performance, and smoother operation.
Integrated Smart Kit technology provides WiFi capability without requiring a separate external smart module. Compatible smart-control functionality may depend on the application, network configuration, and supported mobile platform.
The integrated fresh-air system can introduce up to 60 CFM of outside air, helping reduce reliance on separate ventilation equipment in supported applications.
The unit is designed to maintain indoor relative humidity within an approximate 40% to 60% range, supporting greater occupant comfort in humid climates and moisture-sensitive environments.
Indoor sound levels are rated as low as 31 dB(A) at the quietest setting, making the unit suitable for guestrooms, bedrooms, offices, and other noise-sensitive spaces.
The CH-PTI-12HP provides efficient heat-pump heating and includes electric PTC resistance heat for supplemental heating when operating conditions or room demand require additional output.
