Product FAQs
Yes. OLMO keeps product manuals, troubleshooting guides, and warranty details available online through its Support Center. Live one-on-one assistance is limited to the published Technical Support schedule.
OLMO is an air-conditioning and heating brand offering residential and light-commercial comfort equipment. Its lineup includes ducted and ductless systems designed around affordability, efficiency, reliability, and user-friendly operation.
OLMO states that the brand is exclusively distributed by Comfortside, LLC. Comfortside supports OLMO distribution, inventory, technical support, and warranty administration in the United States.
OLMO directs that its HVAC equipment be installed by a licensed HVAC installer. Licensed installation is especially important for split systems and is a stated condition for qualifying mini-split warranty coverage, along with compliance with codes and OLMO installation instructions.
The model and serial numbers are printed on the product identification label attached to the equipment. A split system can have separate labels for the indoor and outdoor units, so record the information from every component being registered or serviced.
OLMO provides model-specific manuals, troubleshooting guides, and warranty information through its online Support Center. Use the exact model number from the equipment label to locate the correct documents for your unit.
Yes. OLMO offers single-zone and multi-zone mini splits, multi-position air handlers, through-the-wall and other monoblock products, plus compatible accessories. The exact categories and models available can change, so check the current OLMO catalog or product listing.
Prepare the model and serial number for each unit, installation date, owner name and address, installer or dealer information, purchase date and location, an email address, and the installer’s HVAC license number when required for the product.
Have the model and serial number, installation date, installer’s HVAC license number when applicable, purchase date and location, registration confirmation, and a clear description of the problem ready before contacting support.
OLMO lists live Technical Support hours as Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Online manuals, troubleshooting resources, and warranty information remain available through the OLMO website outside those hours.
OLMO states that one-on-one technical and warranty assistance is available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, and Ukrainian during its published support hours.
OLMO Technical Support can be reached at 1-800-977-0722. Have the model and serial number, installation date, purchase information, and installer details ready so the support team can identify the equipment and assist more efficiently.
Use OLMO’s official Warranty page and Warranty Policy, then confirm the model, product category, purchase date, installation date, and registration status. OLMO also provides a warranty-verification option and Technical Support for model-specific questions.
OLMO’s published Limited Warranty excludes accessories such as condensate pumps, line sets, and similar add-on items. Those accessories may have separate seller or manufacturer coverage, which should be reviewed independently.
OLMO’s warranty policy directs customers to report a potential warranty claim to the installing contractor first. The installer or servicing dealer can diagnose the issue, document the equipment information, and coordinate with the distributor or OLMO Technical Support when needed.
Coverage can be denied for failure to follow warranty conditions or product instructions, including improper installation, misuse, inadequate maintenance, unauthorized alteration or repair, electrical problems, corrosion, physical damage, use of unapproved parts, or operation outside the stated requirements.
OLMO’s published Limited Warranty does not cover labor or other costs for diagnosis, repair, removal, installation, servicing, or handling of defective or replacement parts. The applicable parts coverage should be confirmed for the exact product.
OLMO’s published Limited Warranty applies to products remaining at their original installation location. Relocating equipment can affect coverage, so confirm the current policy with OLMO before moving or reinstalling a unit.
OLMO’s published Limited Warranty applies to the original registered end user. A later owner should not assume the remaining coverage transfers and should verify eligibility directly with OLMO before relying on the prior registration.
Register the equipment as soon as possible. OLMO’s current warranty information generally requires eligible products to be registered within 60 days, although whether that period runs from installation or purchase can depend on the product category. Follow the current warranty terms for the exact model.
Use OLMO’s official online product-registration form and enter the owner, installation, purchase, installer, model, and serial-number information requested. Save the registration confirmation together with the purchase invoice and installation records.
No. Normal maintenance described in the owner’s or service manual, including filter cleaning or replacement and other routine upkeep, is not covered by OLMO’s Limited Warranty.
OLMO’s published policy excludes the cost to replace, refill, or dispose of refrigerant and generally places shipping or handling costs outside the Limited Warranty. Exact claim procedures can vary by product, so confirm the current requirements before returning parts or equipment.
No. Warranty duration and requirements vary by product category, refrigerant type, series, purchase channel, and registration status. Review the current OLMO warranty policy and the documents for the exact model instead of assuming one coverage term applies to every OLMO product.
