The MRCOOL® Signature Series 42K heat pump system pairs a multi-position air handler with a split-system heat pump condenser for year-round heating and cooling. The outdoor unit provides heating and cooling, while the air handler supports upflow, downflow, and horizontal installations and uses an efficient ECM blower (5 speeds). Both components use R-454B refrigerant.
