5 Tons
The Goodman AMVT60DP1300 air handler is rated for an output of 5 tons. In many cases, the tonnage of the air handler will be larger than the condenser that it is naturally paired with. This is intentional, and is to maintain the overall efficiency of the unit. While the unit does require a condenser to function as part of a heat pump or air conditioner, heat strips may be installed in the air handler to provide straight electric heating, which can be used as an electric furnace on its own or as a backup heat option for a heat pump setup.
Warranty
The AMVT60DP1300 comes with Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty when registered online through the manufacturer. Please note that in order for the warranty to be upheld, the installation must be compliant to all related local and state codes, as well as the unit must be paired with an approved condenser.

Installation and Maintenance
The Goodman AMVT60DP1300 utilizes SmartFrame technology in its sub-structure. This, along with special mounting features on the cabinet, allows for the unit to be easily installed almost anywhere it fits, as it is multi-positional in that it can be installed in the upflow, downflow, or horizontal orientations. For easier maintenance, there are two panels on the front to access vital areas on the air handler.

OVERVIEW
The Goodman GLXS3BN6010 is a cooling-only condenser unit. Providing a 13.4 SEER2 efficiency with a single stage, reciprocating compressor, the GLXS3BN6010 is an inexpensive condenser to cool your home when paired with an AC coil.

5 ton
The GLXS3BN6010 condenser is a 5 ton AC only unit. In an ideal climate situation, the GLXS3BN6010 can usually cover a large house. For this unit to function, an indoor air handler or coil is required, and this unit is cooling only with no heating capacity on its own.
13.4 SEER2
The Goodman GLXS3BN6010 AC condenser is designed to be 13.4 SEER2. This is the lowest efficiency on the market today, making it an inexpensive option for northern states. Please note that this product is regulated by DOE Efficiency Standards.
Due to efficiency requirements, this unit cannot be installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
Warranty
The GLXS3BN6010 condenser comes with Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld.
Durability and Reliability
With an enhanced copper tube and aluminum fin coil, the GLXS3BN6010 is designed to prevent coil degradation. With the baked-on powder-paint finish, the condenser's heavy-gauge galvanized-steel cabinet is approved for up to 500 hours of salt-spray. The factory-installed filter dryer lowers general wear-and-tear on the unit. All of these features provide you with a durable, reliable condenser to be used whenever you need to cool your home.
Installation and Maintenance
The Goodman GLXS3BN6010 AC condenser comes standard with service valves that have sweat connections and easy-access gauge ports, both providing a lower installation difficulty and time to lower installation costs. The outer casing has both a top and a side access to allow for easier maintenance and warranty access when necessary.

Disclaimer: This condenser contains R-32 refrigerant, classified as an A2L refrigerant, and requires a refrigerant leakage detection system to be installed. To comply with safety standards, this unit must be paired with an R-32 air handler or evaporator coil already equipped with a leakage detection system.
