ACIQ's 5 Ton Gas/Electric Packaged Units with X-Vane Fan Technology provide value-added benefits never seen in this type of equipment before.
All RGF units are field convertible to horizontal airflow, which makes it easy to adjust to unexpected job site complications. Gas/Electric Packaged Units are specifically designed to fit on our existing roof curbs dating back to 1989 for worry-free original fit. Also, our large control box gives you room to work and room to mount accessory controls. Intuitive controls make setting up the required fan speed simple and accurate. Access to the blower section is no longer needed with the new design.
With the new vane axial fan and direct drive ECM motor, there is no longer a need to adjust belts or pulleys as in past designs, reducing maintenance and installation time. Easy access handles provide fast access to all normally serviced components. The "œno-strip" screw system has superior holding power and guides screws into position while preventing the screw from stripping the unit's metal. Sloped, corrosion resistant composite drain pan sheds water and prevents rust. RGF units are designed with a naturally draining heat exchanger. Unlike positive pressure heat exchangers, this does not need to be periodically, manually drained, saving costs on labor and maintenance.
The unit control board puts all connections and troubleshooting points in one convenient place. Most low voltage connections are made to the same board for easy access. Setting up the fan is made simple by an intuitive switch and rotary dial arrangement. Gas/Electric Packaged Units have high and low pressure switches, a filter drier, and 2-in. filters standard.
The direct drive X-Vane indoor fan system uses a vane axial fan design and electrically commutated motors. This vane axial design compared to past belt drive systems has 75% fewer moving parts, uses up to 40% less energy and has no fan belts, blower bearings, or shaft.
ACIQ offers a very comprehensive warranty policy on Gas/Electric Packaged Units, including a 10 year warranty on the aluminized heat exchanger, a 5 year warranty on the compressor, and a 1 year warranty on any replacements parts. For these warranties to be upheld, the packaged unit must be installed following your state and local codes. They must also be properly serviced maintained over the warranty's life, requiring a minimum of once-per year maintenance.
