The ACIQ-MH59AU4VWEC evaporator coil is rated to be compatible with condensers with up to 4 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser.

Modules are easily installed in the field using molex plugs or can be ordered factory-installed. Controls are accessible from the front for easy service. Disconnect does not protrude through the wall panel.

4 Tons

The ACIQ R5A5S48AKAWA air conditioner condenser has an output of 4 tons, generally enough to cool a medium to large house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work.

The cabinet of ACIQ units are extremely durable. On the R5A5S48AKAWA, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.

To comply with safety standards, this unit must be paired with an R454B air handler or evaporator coil equipped with a leakage detection system. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in safety hazards and could void the warranty.
