OVERVIEW
Inverter - The ACIQ-36-EHPD 3 ton central inverter heat pump utilizes inverter technology to convert AC power to DC, allowing the compressor to adjust its speed. This enables the condenser to modify its BTU output based on the current demand, providing efficient and adaptable performance throughout varying weather conditions.
Learning Condenser - Equipped with advanced sensors, this condenser monitors indoor and outdoor air temperature, duct pressure, refrigerant temperature, and overall performance. During the initial startup, it enters a learning mode, optimizing future operations for maximum efficiency by collecting and storing data.
Adaptive Sizing - With its self-adjusting inverter design, the ACiQ-36-EHPD can be sized based on your heating needs. Standard heat pumps may cause discomfort during summer when sized for heat, but this unit automatically adjusts to function like a smaller unit, ensuring ideal cooling performance without excess humidity.

Installing the ACIQ Wall Mount Ducted Air Handler is similar to installing any replacement air handler. Your technician will handle electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication connections, as well as connecting to your return and supply ductwork. This air handler is designed for vertical wall mounting with an up-flow-only configuration. Any 24V thermostat with 2 stages of heating can control the system, but the supplied thermostat is recommended. You can add electric strip heat for backup on the coldest days. The intelligent control board displays fault codes if maintenance is needed.
NOTE: to function as a heat pump, this air handler must be installed with a condenser and other installation equipment, available at an additional cost if not already included in this product bundle. To use straight electric heating, an electric heater coil is necessary and is also available at an additional cost.
