The ACIQ Extreme series features Extreme Heat technology that enables continuous heating all the way down to -22 degrees outside. With high SEER2 and high HSPF, you get maximum efficiency whether you are cooling or heating your space.
The ACIQ-12ZPL-HP230C Condenser, when matched with a compatible 12,000 BTU air handler, has enough capacity for small to medium rooms. The dual rotary compressor and variable inverter technology give this system exceptionally high efficiency ratings.
Please note that this model of equipment does not have quick connect line set connectors and is not a DIY unit. Installation materials such as line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip and disconnect are not included, but are available at additional cost in the Accessories section on this page. You will need a professional to add more refrigerant and vacuum the lines as needed. The automated cleaning function will clean your system, but it is recommended to periodically clean the unit's filters manually.
Each ACiQ condenser has integrated Extreme Heat technology to maximize heat performance in extreme cold weather. Extended heat pump performance (HyperHeat) harnesses the power of inverter condenser with outdoor temp sensing, variable refrigerant flow and variable condenser fan speed to maximize heat extraction all the way down to -22°F. Plus, every Extreme Heat ACiQ condenser includes a base pan heater to keep ice from collecting on the condenser coil during heat pump operation.

State-of-the-Art manufacturing is behind every ACiQ product, resulting in quiet, effective operation over a long service life. Most models have low ambient heating and cooling.
ACiQ saves you money up front, but also over time by reducing energy bills. Every ACiQ condenser features a variable inverter twin rotary compressor, lowering wear and increasing performance. Compare specs against other brands in the same price category, and you will agree, ACiQ is the best value.

Intelligent design goes into every element of ACiQ’s manufacturing ensuring flawless performance for years. Low friction, variable inverter twin rotary compressors give bulletproof reliability. Register equipment at ACiQ.com to extend warranty protection to 7 years parts, 12 years compressor.
ACIQ Floor Mounted air handlers are ideal for sun porches and attic rooms where space to mount a standard high wall unit is not available. Sometimes called a heat console type air handler, these units surface mount low on the wall, near or on the floor. The shape is wider, taller and slightly shallower than the high wall unit. These are ideal for sun porches where the only wall space is below windows, or attic remodels with knee-walls, where vertical high walls may not be available.
Like a high wall mount, these units take in return air at the top edge and deliver it at the bottom. This is ideal for heating. By delivering warm air at floor level, stratification due to heat rise is eliminated. When you put the unit into cooling mode, the airflow direction is reversed for better air mixing in the room.
Note: The 18k and 24k are slightly different in appearance from the 12k, and can be surface mounted on the floor or ceiling. Please see the appropriate manual for your model.
