Dry mode is a specialized setting on your mini-split that prioritizes dehumidification over actual cooling. When this mode is active, the system runs the compressor at a lower speed to maximize the amount of moisture pulled from the air. This is incredibly useful for rainy days or humid climates where the air feels "heavy" even if it isn't very hot. You can find this feature on nearly all of our Wall Mount units and multi-zone systems. Reducing humidity makes the room feel much cooler and prevents the growth of mold and mildew. It is a more energy-efficient way to stay comfortable than simply cranking the AC to a lower temperature. For dedicated moisture control, some customers also browse our Dehumidifiers collection.
