Drain Pan
<!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->The drain pan is located beneath the indoor evaporator coil to catch the water that naturally condenses during the cooling process. As warm air passes over the cold coil, moisture is pulled from the air and drips into this pan. From there, the water is channeled out of your home through a Drain Tube Adapter. If the pan becomes clogged with dust or algae, it can lead to leaks and water damage to your walls. We offer replacement Drain Pans and cleaning supplies in our Parts section. It is important to ensure your Wall Mount unit is perfectly level to allow for proper drainage from this pan. Some systems include an anti-microbial coating on the pan to prevent odors from developing. Checking the pan for standing water is a standard part of any Preventive Maintenance routine. It is a simple but critical part of keeping your indoor environment dry and clean.
