What is ACIQ?

ACiQ was founded on the idea of bringing high-quality, high-value ductless mini-split products to American homes.

The brand distinguishes itself by combining advanced Inverter Technology with affordability, offering a smarter and easier way to heat and cool. The inverter system uses a variable-speed compressor that self-adjusts its power output to precisely match demand, leading to stable, constant comfort at minimum cost and quieter operation compared to traditional systems. ACiQ systems are highly versatile, ranging from 9,000 BTU single-zone units to large 55,000 BTU multi-zone setups capable of serving up to five separate indoor units.

The ACiQ product line features several high-end technologies designed to maximize system longevity and efficiency. Most models include Gold Fin Coating, which acts as a robust anti-corrosion layer on the condenser coil, ensuring prolonged durability and resilience against harsh weather conditions. Furthermore, many ACiQ systems integrate leak detection technology to streamline maintenance and prevent larger HVAC issues by identifying refrigerant problems early. With options for wall-mount, ceiling cassette, floor-mounted, and concealed duct air handlers, ACiQ provides the flexibility needed to install ductless comfort in any unique space, including older homes or new additions.

Extreme Climate Performance and Industry-Leading Warranty

ACiQ is particularly well-known for its Extreme Series and Max Heat technology, making it a powerful choice for cold climates. These systems are engineered to provide efficient heating even when outdoor temperatures drop dramatically, with some models maintaining effective heat down to -22°F. This capability makes ACiQ a dependable, year-round solution for regions where traditional heat pumps struggle. We back the quality of these systems with a robust warranty: when registered online within 90 days of residential installation, the warranty is upgraded to an industry-leading 12-year compressor and 7-year parts warranty.

When to "Size Up"

High Ceilings (10ft+)

If your ceilings are 10 feet or higher, you are cooling a larger volume of air. We recommend increasing your BTU choice by 20%.

Poor Insulation

For older homes or buildings with single-pane windows, opt for the next size up to ensure the unit can maintain the set temperature.

Kitchen Environments

Appliances generate significant heat. If the unit is for a kitchen, add 4,000 BTUs to your square footage calculation.

Heavy Sun Exposure

Rooms with large south-facing windows or "sunrooms" act like greenhouses. Increase your BTU capacity by 10-15%

Occupancy

If the area regularly hosts more than two people (like a conference room or classroom), add 600 BTUs per additional person..
